This privacy policy explains how Costa Strategies LLC ("Rio Ready," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit rio-ready.com (the "Site"), sign up for our emails, or book a Rio Ready call. Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Email sign-ups: your email address when you request the free checklist or join our email list.
- Call bookings: your name, email address, the time you choose, and your answers to booking questions (for example, your travel dates, who is joining the call, and what you want to cover).
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Payment information. Payments for calls are processed by our booking provider and its payment processor. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services we use may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit. Our Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics tracking on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How we use your information
- To send you the checklist and the emails you signed up for, including travel tips and occasional offers for our services.
- To schedule, prepare for, and hold your Rio Ready call, and to process payments and refunds.
- To answer your questions and provide customer support.
- To keep the Site secure, fix problems, and improve our content and services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Services we use
We share information only with service providers that help us run Rio Ready, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Kit (email marketing), to store your email address and send our emails.
- Cal.com and its payment processor, to handle bookings and payments.
- Google Meet, to hold video calls.
- Netlify, to host the Site.
Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
Affiliate links
Some links on the Site, in our emails, or in our checklist may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click an affiliate link, the other company may collect information under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
- Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing costastrategies@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and as required by the laws that apply to you.
How long we keep information
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or ask our providers to do so.
Security
We use reputable service providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed outside your home country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
