Terms of service

These terms of service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Costa Strategies LLC ("Rio Ready," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company. They apply to your use of rio-ready.com (the "Site"), our free checklist and emails, and our paid Rio Ready calls (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or booking a call, you agree to these Terms and to our privacy policy.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old to book a call. By booking, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate.

2. What the Rio Ready call is

The Rio Ready call is a 60-minute video call on Google Meet in which we share general travel information and suggestions about visiting Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, based on personal experience. You may bring up to one additional person to the call.

We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or licensed travel, legal, immigration, medical, financial, or safety advisor. We do not book flights, hotels, tours, or other travel services for you, and we are not responsible for any services you buy from third parties.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the Site and on the booking page, in U.S. dollars. Payment is due when you book and is processed by our booking provider and its payment processor. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect a call you have already paid for.

4. Rescheduling and cancellations

You may reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before your call, using the link in your confirmation email. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your call, you will receive a full refund.

Changes made less than 24 hours before the call, and missed calls without notice, are not refundable. In those cases, you may still reschedule once.

If we need to reschedule or cancel, you may choose a new time or receive a full refund.

5. The Rio Ready guarantee

If you don't feel more confident about your trip after your call, email costastrategies@gmail.com within 7 days of the call and we will refund the full amount you paid for that call. No questions asked. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.

6. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, plans, safety, and actions, and for confirming important information with official sources. This includes visa and entry requirements, health and vaccination guidance, travel advisories, local laws, and the terms of any airline, hotel, or tour you book. Travel involves risks, including risks from the ocean, roads, weather, crime, and health conditions.

7. Information is not guaranteed

Our calls, checklist, emails, videos, and Site content are for general informational purposes only. Information such as visa rules, prices, and local conditions can change at any time. We try to keep our information helpful and current, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or up to date, and the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costa Strategies LLC and its owner, Caio Costa, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from your travel or from your use of or reliance on the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Costa Strategies LLC and its owner from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

10. Our content

The Site, checklist, emails, logo, and other materials are owned by Costa Strategies LLC. You may download and print them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without our written permission.

11. Affiliate and third-party links

The Services may include links to other websites and products, including affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, products, or policies.

12. Conduct on calls

Please be respectful during calls. We may end a call, without a refund, if a participant is abusive or harassing. Calls may not be recorded without the agreement of everyone on the call.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at costastrategies@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect calls already booked.
